The most important things in life are also the simplest. The smile you bring to another human being’s face. The sunset you share in silence with someone who means the world to you. The drive through the rain among lush green surroundings. These are all things that should be important to us as they bring us inexpressible joy. Yet somewhere along the line we feel these simple things shouldn’t make us happy. We want the material happiness that is advertised and bombarded at us from a million sources. We neither trust nor admire these sources, so why do we believe them?
What is important in life to you? Everyone has their own views but very few people have bothered to put it down in a calculated list. Well these are the things that are important to me.
1. My Family. This includes my husband, my son and his grandparents.
2. My Friends. There are a few people in this world whom I may not talk with everyday but who know that they mean a lot to me.
3. Being a good human being. Rekei, Art of Living, Yoga, Tarot, and Rebirth Theories have always attracted me. They are my stress busters, my get away to another world.
4. Enough money to fulfill my needs and not enough to fulfill all my wants.
These are the things that are important to me. What matters to you?
My Life is Interesting To Me!
Each Individual has a sense of self importance that is actually essential for survival. I am no different and I feel that I have led, on the whole, an interesting life. It certainly was lived in more towns and cities than most people I know. After all how many people do you know who can claim to have done 12 years of schooling in 11 different schools.
An Army Daughter and An Air Force Wife…these are the experiences of my life.
In the categories of Living the Fauji Life, Parenting and Travel and Tourism I draw largely from the experiences that I have had. Most are pleasant and some are not, but I am sharing them in my blog. After all the blog did come into existence as a sort of online diary, didn’t it.
Living the Fauji Life has my most current updates on what is happening to me and around me, but it also has a few posts that take a trip down memory lane. Some childhood memories that I am fond of and a few incidents that make good anecdotes.
In Parenting I draw from the richest source of inspiration I have, my son. Of course when I think about it there are more people interested in knowing what he is up to right now than there those interested in what I am doing. Great Grand ma, Grandparents, Grand Uncles and Aunts, Uncles and Aunts and some Friends. That’s quite an interested audience he has. Plus I felt that it would be a nice way to share parenting strategies and ask for help with the same.
Being a bonna fide Travel Agent traveling is close to my heart. I love shifting into a new town and setting about exploring it. Currently I am doing a series on the towns that have been part of my “Past Homes” list. Soon I will be adding some special shops in each town that I have been to that will be of help to those posted in that particular place. After all Faujis always know where to find the best bargains.
If there is any other aspect that you would like me to write about, please feel free to tell me. Use the comments box below, and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

well, being an independent human being and living in harmony with your loved ones is important ,being a good mother which is such a tremendous task and teaching my girls to always believe in themselves and never lose their individuality, this is important. I have a few really good friends and i cherish them ,they are important to me as well, being connected to nature and animals is me,to be able to achieve all your goals in life and feel like you left a ‘mark’is important ,just losing yourself in the simple pleasures of evryday life like breathing in the early morning air with a cup of tea while the rest of the family is asleep! My art is important and last but not least my husband is important myfriend,my support,my quarreling partner

what is important to me is to be with myself.with daily life and its chores and parenting …i’ve stopped talking to myself.i remember as a kid i used to dream…all those unbelievable things…all those magical dreams which as i grew up, stopped believing in.to me at this stage what is important is to give logic and rational mind a break.i want to dance with my daughter in rain, want to believe in Santa clause, want to read fairy tales with my dear husband….and tell every one whom i know that some time its so nice to smell a flower, not worrying about all the deadlines…phones…calls…commitments and enjoy the simple basic things.

The four things that you mentioned are no doubt important to anyone. But, they bring out the me, my and mine attitude. To me happiness would be making everyone around, irrespective of the relation (include dogs, cats etc etc) happy. That is what gives true joy.
